NOTICE and UPDATE: The Oaksterdam Cannabis Museum, was raided by Obama administration officials April 2, 2012, and has since reopened for visitors. Oaksterdam University still regrouping from the federal assault and classes will continue. See oaksterdamuniversity.com for more details.
Come by to learn about medical marijuana, industrial hemp, marijuana prohibition, cannabis botany — and see a real, living state-legal medical marijuana garden! The museum had its first preview showings on 4/20/2011, and has since hosted receptions for the National Cannabis Industries Assn., candidate for US Congress Roger Goodman, and others.
See why Oaksterdam has become the East Bay’s newest tourist destination! Come visit the Oaksterdam Cannabis Museum at its historic 1776 Broadway location, formerly home to Oaksterdam University and the California Prop 19 legalization initiative that gained 46.6% of the vote in the 2010 ballot.
