Welcome to the Oaksterdam Cannabis Museum website. The Museum is a focus of the community and is open for previews in the heart of Oakland California, in the world famous Oaksterdam District, at Broadway and 19th Streets. Current hours for viewing: Tues -Sat, 10 – 6

Come by to learn about medical marijuana, industrial hemp, marijuana prohibition, cannabis botany — and see a real, living state-legal medical marijuana garden! The museum had its first preview showings on 4/20/2011, and recently hosted a reception for the National Cannabis Industries Assn.

See why Oaksterdam has become the East Bay’s newest tourist destination! Come visit the Oaksterdam Cannabis Museum at its historic 1776 Broadway location, formerly home to Oaksterdam University and the California Prop 19 legalization initiative that gained 46.6% of the vote in the 2010 ballot.

Note: The museum is looking for sponsors, volunteers and donors to keep its collection current and its doors open.
